Arrietty’s cherry tree has always stood out to me as one of the most iconic objects from The Borrowers. It’s in full bloom when she goes outside for the very first time, and it’s where she meets her first friend, the Boy! Of course, I knew as soon as I started planning a Borrower tea that it would be cherry tree themed. I think Arrietty would approve! π
Arrietty’s Cherry Tree Tea
In this tea, two cherry-infused teas (Cherry Green and Dewy Cherry) come together to make a memorable blend that features the slightly earthy flavor of green tea, along with a hint of fresh summer cherries. In terms of presentation, I think it’s one of the prettiest teas I’ve seen yet—the pink and green look so fresh and gardeny! Personally, I prefer it iced with a touch of sugar, just the way I imagine the Clocks would drink it after a hard day of borrowing in the Big House. But you can drink it however you want! π
THIS TEA LOOKS PRETTY. I don’t even drink tea much (except chai!) but this sounds really delicious and also seems like it’d smell really good! π Plus ahhhh memories of the Borrower’s YAY!
Thanks! I think it smells good too. π If you like chai, I’ve got a spiced apple chai blend from my Agatha Christie menu: https://wonderlandrecipes.comalisons-wonderland-teas-from-adagio/#jp-carousel-49051
Oooo! This sounds yummy! I love Adagio Tea’s Dewy Cherry tea. It has the fresh cherry taste instead of the candied that I don’t care for.

Yeah, I’m a big fan (and I don’t even normally like green tea!). I think the fresh flavor is much more in keeping with the style of the story than a sugary cherry would be.
Looks luscious! Thanks for the shoutout π
