Mos Eisley Dry Rub BBQ Bantha Steaks
Nothing says “desert planet” like dry rub bbq, and since banthas are common fare on Tatooine, I figured dry rub bbq bantha steaks would be a fitting entree for our Star Wars menu. This juicy, tender grilled rib eye features a Chicago dry rub blend, guaranteed to take the monotony out of any day of moisture farming.
Sweet Potato Tigger Stripes: What Tiggers Love Best!
Tigger presented me with quite a challenge when it came time to include him in the Winnie the Pooh menu. He is a notoriously picky eater, turning up his nose at every food but one (extract of malt). So for this recipe, I drew my inspiration from Tigger as a character, rather than his taste in snacks. The result was a delightful batch of honeyed sweet potato fries with just a little whiskey kick, modeled after Tigger’s iconic stripes. Perfect for a day of bouncing!
Grilled Honey-Lemon Babel Fish: An Alison’s Wonderland Original Recipe ©
Fun Fact: I actually don’t like fish, but this lovely recipe is the exception to the rule—I’m crazy about it!
I also think the Babel fish is one of the coolest creatures in Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. What’s more clever than a little fish that translates alien languages for you? Therefore, it seemed only right to include a tribute to the Babel fish in our Hitchhiker menu.
